Upper division transfer requirements: You will qualify as an upper division transfer student if you have completed a minimum of 60 transferable semester (90 quarter) units and: have a G.P.A. of 2.0 (non-resident students must have at the minimum a 2.4) or better in all transferable units attempted are in good standing at the last college or university attended, and have completed the required transferable English, speech, critical thinking, and mathematics courses.

Application Requirements
* CSU Undergraduate Admission application.
* A $55.00 nonrefundable application fee or fee waiver for each application filed.
* Official transcripts from every college/university attended

Open University
The Open University Program permits you to take regular classes, on a space-available basis, without going through the formal admissions process.

First, select the course(s) you are interested in. The CSUEB Class Schedule provides a list of courses being offered for the quarter. Course descriptions and/or prerequisite information can be found in the University Catalog. Catalogs are available for purchase at the Concord Café in the Campus Union.

Second, obtain an Open University form at the Concord Campus Student Information Lobby the first day of the new term.

Third, complete the form, including your choice(s) of grading option: either a letter grade, cr/nc or audit.

Finally, submit the form at the Concord Campus Student Information Lobby during the Open University Enrollment period published in the class schedule. Pay your fees by cash or check. No credit cards or debit cards are accepted at the lobby.
