Family Orientation

Orientation is not just for students, but also is an important time for parents and guests! We have designed a special program to address the questions and concerns your parents or family members may have as you prepare to join the Cal State East Bay community. Family members play a key role in helping students succeed in college. The Family Orientation Program provides information to help family members support their student during the first year.

Highlights Include:

• Academics at CSUEB: An Overview of General Education, Degree Requirements and Registration
• Life at Cal State - A Student Panel
• Campus Tour
• Opportunities to speak with representatives of campus departments, including Financial Aid, Testing, Career Services, Campus Safety

Fees and Reservations:

The cost to attend the family program is $26. Due to space constraints on campus we can only allow one family member per student and reservations will be filled on a first-come basis.
